News Day

I am writing this blog from the Best Western in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This is a very special Best Western, because it has an INDOOR WATER PARK. We got here late, so the pool is already closed, but I can guarantee that I will be up at 7:00 AM to take advantage of the WATER SLIDE and BASKETBALL HOOPS IN THE POOL. I'll be tearing it up for at least 5 hours tomorrow morning.

We are about halfway through this tour, and tonight we announced three very big things. The first big thing is that for all of November, we will be touring with Hawthorne Heights, Just Surrender, Monty Are I, and Nightbeast. Obviously that tour will be great. The second big thing is that after this tour, Belan is leaving the band. That was the bad piece of news. Belan is a good bud, so it sucks to see him go. I don't like his decision to leave, but I'm not going to hold it against him either. The third (and probably most surprising) piece of news is that our old friend and former bandmate Paul Menotiades is going to be playing with us again. I am looking forward to playing music with Paul again. He's a very talented guy, and it'll be nice to see and hang out with him again after seeing him only twice in the past 4 years or so.

I had a great burrito on our way to the show today. It has sweet potato puree in it, which I think it an excellent idea. When I eat a sweet potato, it makes me want to write a song.

I forgot to tell you, if you guys play the song "just say yes" with paul, I will drop out of college just a few credits shy of graduating. I will also start drinking pop which I haven't touched in a decade.
